Cinema Jobs

It's a Catch 22 situation, but the best way to find out about jobs in the cinema industry is to have a job in the cinema industry! However, some jobs are advertised online, so it's worthwhile going through the various job sites such as Monster, Fish4 etc. Local newspapers also have online job pages these days, and cinema jobs are sometimes advertised there.

When using any job site, the following tips may be useful:
In the keywords box, try typing words such as 'cinema', 'projection', 'projectionist', 'booth'.
Don't choose an industry sector if you don't have to - I have found cinema jobs advertised under 'retail', 'leisure', 'media' and even 'manufacturing and industry'.
Search regularly, or alternatively post your CV and set up a job alert, so that the site will email you if any jobs match your requirements.
