Digital Awareness Day - 22/04/08 at Guildford Odeon

The aim of this event is to present projectionists with an interesting and enlightening day and provide them with a snapshot of how digital technology expects to transform their industry.

The first session of the course will focus on the types of digital content that people should expect to show in their cinemas, and the second will concentrate on the equipment, training and 'real life' experiences so far from an operational Digiplex.

Multimedia Box Training for Projectionists

The BFI Southbank Technical Department are delighted to announce a new initiative to provide digital projection and multimedia box training to approximately 400 projectionists acroos the UK. This course will be of interest not just to DSN cinemas and those currently with digital projection, but to all cinemas that are likely to consider digital projection in the future.
